CAIR-DFW to Hold Interfaith Prayer Vigil for Victims of Terrorism

(DALLAS/FORT WORTH, TX, 11/19/2015) – Later today, the Dallas-Fort Worth chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-DFW) will hold a prayer vigil with Interfaith Partners of DFW to stand with the victims of the terrorist attacks in Paris and terrorism where ever it has occurred.

WHEN: Thursday November 19, 7 p.m.

“We must not divide in times like this. That’s exactly what these terrorists want; for neighbors and countries to turn against each other. Instead, people of all of faiths and walks of life must come together and support and protect one another,” said Omair Siddiqi, outreach coordinator of CAIR-DFW. “We are inviting the community to come together not only to pray for the victims in Paris, but to stand with all victims of terror everywhere."

The event will include prayer services offered by various members of different religious communities.
