CAIR Supports Community After FBI Conducts Mass Interviews

COMMUNITY ALERT: #CAIR Urges American Muslims Contacted by Law Enforcement to Know Their Constitutional Rights

 

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, has received multiple reports of Muslim community members nationwide being contacted by the FBI for interviews.

CAIR is urging anyone contacted by a law enforcement agency to consult advice offered in its “Know Your Rights and Responsibilities an American Muslim” pocket guide, which includes a section called “Know Your Rights If Law Enforcement Contacts You.”
