Become a CAIR-TX, DFW Chapter volunteer. Here is your chance to make a difference and to experience the pleasures that come with helping others. As Muslims, we have a duty to improve our communities and to help those in need. Volunteering with CAIR-TX, DFW Chapter is an excellent way to exercise our faith, work towards a better America, build your resume and gain a wide range of experience.

Media Watch Committee
The committee's primary duties will entail watching and/or listening to the media and co-ordinate responses to deconstruct sensational and biased coverage of issues pertinent to Muslims and Islam. The purpose is to flag such pieces, to highlight their inaccuracies, and to offer thoughtful analyses that diffuse misconceptions. We are currently recruiting volunteers for this task and will be offering a media watch and response seminar for those who join the committee at the end of this month.

CAIR-TX, DFW Chapter Masjid Representative
We are currently looking for brother's and sister's to represent CAIR-TX, DFW Chapter at your masjid. Duties would include making necessary announcements during salat times, conducting voter registration drives, updating the members of your masjid about CAIR-TX, DFW Chapter events and projects, serving as a resource for masjid safety and civil rights, and much more. This is an opportunity to become a part of the CAIR-TX, DFW Chapter team and help empower Muslims in your community.

Events Planning
Our office is constantly putting together events to reach out to the Muslim community and the Houston community at large. In doing so, we research, plan, and organize several large scale events, from panel forums, to film screenings, to demonstrations. If you would like to be a part of CAIR-TX, DFW Chapter's Event's Committee and help plan and put together these events please indicate so on the form below!

Research Assistance
We're continously researching and gathering information on different issues such as the life of Muslims in America, the amount of Mosque's around the country, and other aspects and interests of Muslim life in America. Volunteer researchers would work with our office here in Houston and the Research Department in Washington D.C.
